The Best of Bondage

Best of Bondage is a new photo book with a super collection of black and white images. It is one of a new series of books by publishing house Goliath to celebrate “Ten years of thrilling bondage photography”. This edition includes over two hundred photos in a hardback, pocket-sized book.

This is a compilation of beautiful photography which includes the best of Goliath’s erotic photography books. There’s a section of images from bondage photographer and artist Midori’s Sensual Bondage that has an “intense as well as disturbing setting”. There are also shots from Asia Bondage by Steven Speliotis, Cool Bondage by Roman Kasperski and L.A. Bondage by Dave Naz, to name a few. Laura M. Stansfield has a wonderful retro collection called Bondage which with what appears to be real damsels in distress and Generation Fetish by Lee Higgs is a really interesting and arty collection.

These photographs are truly fantastic and being in black and white gives the book an even more erotic and artistic feel.

If you have a passion for different kinds of bondage, gorgeous women being tied up or just an interest in really good photography, this book is a must!

Bettie Page and Irving Klaw Movies on DVD

Bettie Page was the top pin-up queen and fetish model of the 1950s. Known for her distinctive haircut and figure, her playful sexuality and lack of inhibition saw her become one of the most photographed pin-up girls of all time. Two Knotty Boys launch “Back On the Ropes”

The Knotty Boys had the Northern California release party for their second book, “Back On the Ropes” at Bondage-a-Go-Go on Wednesday, the 4th of March 2009.

Some of San Francisco’s finest local fetish luminaries were out to support Dan and JD. To name a few: Ken Marcus – their photographer for this book; Lochai – rigger, artist the new manager and inspiration for hogtied.com; Michael Blue – fetish photographer and former co-owner of Beauty Bound, and fetish and bondage model Kumi.

Being the sharing sort, Dan and JD didn’t just bring their books, but also gave a very fun duo-model demo of their rope-art skills, including a very dynamic suspension.

Whether the addition of The Knotty Boys and their friends had anything to do with it is not certain, but according to the club’s promoter, “T’was the best night so far in ‘09!” with the club packed with happy perverts of all stripes and variations, despite the cold rain literally pouring down on the San Francisco streets outside.

There will be a Southern California book release part on April 25th 2009, Upstairs at Bar Sinister www.barsinister.net , 1652 N. Cherokee Avenue in Hollywood, CA from 10PM-1:30AM.
