FETISH by David Bramwell
This book is easily in the running towards being a fetish bible, as it encompasses everything from the facts and basics to the derivatives of fetishism, its histories and role models; not to mention it’s beautifully presented, with lots of colourful photographs and step-by-step images.
The same way Time Out is a guide to London’s seeing and doing pleasures, Fetish is that vastly informed, and includes things like terminologies, a fetish dictionary, recommended art, fiction, magazines, websites etc., and, of course, thorough coverings of all the different types of fetishes out there. It’s easily read and easily understood, making it an essential guide for the curious beginner, and is something you can go back to again and again for honest guidance. The crowd included the cover model from Skin Two issue 1 in 1984, our first Webmistress, as well as several writers and photographers we’ve featured. Read more
