German Fetish Ball 2010 – moving to Hamburg

German Fetish Ball Weekend 2009 in Berlin was great again this year. The Fair was held over two days in the rather cool Spannwerk building, beside a canal, with outside cafes. The supporting events included a couples’ play party at Avalon – a very upmarket SM establishment – and Revolution, which was held at the famous KitKat club.

The main event, the Ball itself, was again held at Matrix, which is pretty much a perfect venue. There’s a show space, a dungeon area, dance areas, chillout and even an outside patio if you want to cool down. The locals are very well dressed and there are loads of Brits and others from around Europe – even Americans who’d come over just for the event.

This has to be the Continent’s top fetish weekend party. Who wouldn’t love a weekend of pervery in Berlin in Springtime! There’s a lot to see, the weather is OK, and you can get a decent Wiener Schnitzel.

For 2010, though, they are moving to Hamburg, which is also an attractive destination and they have a great venue lined up. The dates are May 12 – 16th and they plan a full five days’ programme!
