Costume and accessories designer Ruby Rouge will show you how to make accessories for yourself and celebrate your inner diva! Produce your own craft items as personalised gifts for fellow burlesque stars! Perfectly timed for the festive season, these craft workshops are hosted by Ruby in her East London Studio on December 9th.
Learn to make the perfect air of nipple tassels and matching leather fascinator. Tips and tricks on how to spin those tassels and fix these fascinators are demonstrated by our experts!
Ruby’s classes are ideal for the experienced crafter, or for those with no crafting experience. She will guide you, using easy-to-follow step by step demonstrations, drawing from her years of experience as a designer or burlesque clothing and accessories.You will get to explore Ruby’s extensive collection of satins, silks, tassels, sequins, trimmings and ribbons from around the world and take your pick. Learn how to create the perfect twirl, how to manipulate feathers, work with sinamay, mount veiling, create fabric flowers and more. Come along and learn new skills, make new friends, then take your creations home.
The class runs from 12:30 to 7:30 and costs £79. Limited places available, so book now!
