Skin Two is always interested in quality non-fiction and fiction writing on anything related to BDSM and fetishism. To give you an idea of our style, look at a few back issues. Writers we like include Elizabeth Ambrose, Stella Black, Patrick Califia, Louise Malatesta and Martin Millar.

Photography
Skin Two publishes the best photography in the BDSM/fetish genre. Some of our favourites are Gilles Berquet, Derrick F, Charles Gatewood, Guy Lemaire, Gerard Musy, Barbara Nitke, Trevor Watson and Lukas Zpira. We prefer serious creative BDSM/fetish work – not pin-up, fashion or glamour shots of pretty girls in rubber dresses.

Event and Promotional Photography
Event promoters should send us publicity information and photos well in advance, so that we can let the public know to buy their tickets and make their plans. Then, the promoter should send us a CD of high resolution photos immediately after the event, for possible publication.

We also print photography of fetish clothing, accessories, books and all kinds of other products. It is the responsibility of the event promoter or business owner and not Skin Two to pay the photographer. We are happy to give publicity to your event or business, but we don’t pay your photographers as well!

Art / Illustration
We are always looking for the next Eric Stanton or John Willie. Current illustrators we like include Trevor Brown, Michael Manning and Sardax. If you do work in the BDSM/fetish genre to this standard, please contact us.

Models
We don’t usually employ models. Models generally work with photographers on projects which the photographer will then submit to us.

Format
Copy should be in Word, TextEdit or in the body of the e-mail. Mac format if possible – PC if you must. Images should be in JPG format, 300 ppi resolution, CMYK mode.

The Small Print
1) Printed Publications

We pay 0.15 UK pence per published word for copy.

For photos used editorially, we pay 50 UK pounds per photo used, or 70 pounds per photo if used full-page. 200 pounds for the cover photo. Page rate 100 pounds for more than one photo on the same page.

We don’t pay for promotional photos. That is, photos promoting products, services or events (see above).

All material may be used in any of our publications and on our web site and in any other Skin Two media – one payment covers all uses.

2) Online

We are interested in quality material for our website. As of now, we don’t pay for material published online. If and when we are able to do this, we will.
